This place will give you that southern BBQ that you hear of! Let me say, when you order brisket, its 93% meat and 7% or less fat. If you really dislike the fat, get LEAN! This place appeals to children and adults alike. I grew up on the BBQ so, I am partially biased, but I have had other BBQ. Nothing hits like Mutt's!! The cobbler is so fresh and delish! The meat and sides are actually flavorful and plenty. Bu their coca-cola..... there is something magical in that. Ask for their house Vanilla to add to the coke and it could put Sonic happy hour vanilla coke out of business. lol Seriously, eat here!!!!!

Imagine this, you work12hrs, and coming to a bbq restaurant with the thoughts of getting your food to go. You place an order, with a broken speaker, which should of been a sign from the start. The man comes on screaming at you. You continue placing order, and drive around. You wait, 3 or 4 min just so they can swipe your card and as you wait, the guy mumbles from what I can hear, is they are trying to make sure the chopped bbq is still good. Another 5 min goes by and then I notice, the 2 people working are now just staring and laughing. So I stare back and it seems as they are not going to give me my order. So finally i gave up and just drove away. I have no clue to what kind of clowns this place hires but all i know, is that this place made me feel uncomfortable with the individuals preparing my food. I will not ever go back. Also will wanting a full refund.

Great place and very nice and clean!!! The employees are friendly and easy to order. People that goes there are nice and friendly too. The food is super great and taste goood!!!. This place is a family oriented. Good BBQ!!!!!

Excellent experience. These people know about South Texas BBQ.

Between me and everyone in the group I was with, we got every type of meat they offered. No one in the group was really impressed with the food. I also feel like it was a bit overpriced for what you get. The only redeeming factor was the cool re-usable bag that they put our boxes of food in. Unless you're really craving some BBQ I don't recommend you go here.

The food is typical of a any Texas, homeowned BBQ... the meats are quite good, some of the savory sides are a bit saltier than I prefer, the corn nuggets are lovely, and the peach cobbler was tasty. The cole slaw and green beans were good, but the potato salad was a bit salty, too.Although the serving staff were basically knowledgeable about what they were offering/serving, they were rather brusque/curt in their delivery of the information, especially to strangers in town.

Very good BBQ! The brisket, bake potatoes, the ribs...all is just delicious! Very casual place. When dining in it's a cafeteria style serving, pick and choose what you want, pay then get your drink and fixings! Staff always very friendly. My family go all the time we need a BBQ fix! 😁

Good barbecue. Friendly staff and not too many flies lol. I like their brisket the best. I can see this place getting super busy at lunch and dinner time. But when I visited service was quick and the place wasn't too busy. Very good sweet tea

Helpful and friendly staff. The brisket has a good flavor and some bark but a little on the dry side. Overall a decent brisket. The pork ribs are juicy but need some sauce for flavor. There sauce is good. They are in the middle on price. Not bad overall.

Looooove! We've had the Turkey, sausage and brisket along with their barbecuesauce...delicious! The rice and potato salad is very good as well!

Amazing food!!!! Loved it. The smell inside makes your mouth water. My husband and I tried different things, it was all amazing. Will definitely make a trip just to eat here

Good food, but the BBQ sauce was thin and bland, which is a primary concern for a BBQ restaurant. If they can't come up with a better recipe, they should invest in some Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce.

Yum! Great BBQ at good prices. The tender brisket is amazingly tender, the sauce is delicious and the meat falls off of the ribs. Order at the counter and find a seat. No alcohol is served.

I noticed mostly all the 1 star reviews are from mexicans. Their national cuisine tastes like someone sharted in your mouth, what can they know about American BBQ. So I'm here to show my support. Keep on doing your thing you guys are great.

Wow! Excellent Texas BBQ. The first thing you notice is the fresh smoky aroma when you drive into the parking lot. It gets better when you walk inside. Good selection of meats to choose from: brisket, ribs, chicken and sausage. The sides are classic dishes to go with BBQ. The seating area is clean and everything is well stocked. Very friendly and helpful staff! Overall great restaurant that's firing on all cylinders.

I wouldnt want no one to eat here this is the worse food I've ever ate.
